Reproducing a uniform, straight-line grain pattern on large cabinets and enclosures is no longer a problem with AAFI's latest stroke-sanding machine. We engineered and constructed the Surface Master to handle components as large as eight feet long and weighing as much as 1,000 pounds.
In order to maximize our welding throughput, we have installed a high speed, MIG welding robot. The Panasonic AV-010-C has six axis movement and a wide working envelope. This addition to our welding shop enables us to process difficult weldments and shorten manufacturing lead times.
The machine has a programmable vector drive motor which enables us to match the correct surface feet per minute (SFPM) with an assortment of abrasive or surface conditioning belts. This reduces the number of finishing steps and delivers uniform results that will meet the most stringent, straight-line finish requirements.
